Cyber & Data Protection deliver training to support it’s service offerings and to ensure people who need the skills can have them.  We offer training in 3 areas:

  • Data Protection Training
  • Cyber Security Training
  • Cyber Security Awareness Training

Data Protection Training

Our Fundamentals Course with 12 modules is designed to give people a good understanding of data law and how it applies to handling sensitive data, their responsibilities, key requirements, actions to take, and when to seek further advice.

Almost all staff will handle personal data in some form. Making sure they understand how and why to handle it appropriately can result in increased security and reduced risk.  Staff who handle personal data need to know the essential aspects of the law, which is why regular and accessible training as provided through our Data Protection E-learning course is key. It also helps to demonstrate and evidence that training has been delivered and that you are meeting your statutory requirements to the ICO

Our Data Protection Fundamentals course is an online, 12 module CIPD accredited course, providing information in interactive bite-sized videos, making it easy for delegates to digest.

Our modules:

  1. Introduction to Data Protection
  2. What is Personal Data
  3. Special Category Data
  4. Is it legal?
  5. Working with Suppliers

Cyber Security Training

We have one 30 minute Cyber Security Basics module available as an add on.

What you will learn

  • Delegates will gain a clear sense of their responsibilities, key requirements, actions to take, and when to seek further advice.
  • To ground learning, each delegate must pass a comprehensive quiz to proceed to the next module.
  • Upon successful completion of the course, a certificate is issued to prove that your users have been trained and that they have a heightened awareness of GDPR.
  • Organisations can demonstrate their accountability, duty of care to employees, and maintain the trust of those whose personal data it handles.
  • Once registered, delegates have continual access, enabling them to work through the course at their own pace. Upon completion, they can also refer to the information at any time as a knowledge base to check and refresh their knowledge.

If you want to ensure your key staff handling sensitive data know their obligations then Cyber & Data Protection training delivers.
