Managing your privacy risk is an integral element of accountability. Data risk assessments are important to undertake as a form of audit, we’d advise, annually. The assessment will review how you currently handle and protect your sensitive data, the procedure and documentation you have, and what risks there are and what improvements can be made. Our findings are mapped with our internal Data Protection Framework and checked against the requirements of the Data Protection Act 2018 (and GDPR).
They are then presented to you in a detailed report that a Data Protection Officer would need and is one that provides an overview suited to board-level review. A remediation roadmap is included.
